IMACOPIA - How it Works.
We are a special effects house based solely online telecommuting via high speed internet. Our Artists are VFX professionals who work for Imacopia from their homes or personal offices, with their own equipment, and who are paid on a shot by shot basis for their contribution to our online visual effects pipeline. Shots are assigned/checked out to the Artist with the contractual obligation that all scheduled online dailies (meetings) are attended, and that the work must be complete by the deadline set by the VFX Supervisor and the Client. In other words, if you're a VFX artist or Animator with access to your own equipment, and you can make it play, we'll make it pay!
(All new artists are assigned test shots that must meet professional standards and be approved by a VFX Supervisor before working on paying projects- a great way to improve your reel or break in to the VFX industry.) - 3 Topics

We are looking for professional artists who are either looking for a start in the VFX industry, Established VFX artists who want to be a part of the online visual effects evolution, or make some extra money on a shot or two while still keeping your studio job, or perhaps join us and be a part of a Fan-Restore Project where we conduct a non-profit update of classic movies- updating their visual effects with modern digital techniques.
